I've done some calculations and currently our output is roughlty 270sq ft per 6.5 hrs on off of the JV3-160. According to what they are saying they werwe able to pull off the same square footage in four hours with identical print settings and of course using the firewire connection in both cases. I only have experience with Wasatch and I never actualy saw these printers running on Onyx, so naturally I am skeptical as to the validity of their claims in terms of print speed. The thing is that if you do the division, my current hourly rate is 41 sq ft per hour, and their clam comes out to be 67.5...over 50% faster using identical settings. Now, besides head speed...which oddly enough doesn't seem to affect anything on this printer, I don't see what might make this claim valid. Anyone have any experience with a swtich like mine?
