I am, and that is the one reason I have not mentally beat myself to a pulp this time. Things are about to get more stressful here..My Dad (step Dad, but more of one than I ever had) was just diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, it's in his brain, it's all throughout his body. Brilliant man, helped design the Space Shuttle, the Hubble and so much more. So..with all my heart I am going to stay sober. I have not made it through many big events like this sadly. I called my sponser, she was zonked out on her ativan and her room mate couldn't wake her. I have been ON guard for 8 days thinking of nothing but 'not drinking' that last night really bugs me. My sponser still has not called, I am trying to figure out a ride to the next town meetings, our transportation is not good right now. so..here I sit, head in the sand, and in no way am I blaming my husband.
