8bit I went through different unhealthy relationships until I realized that I couldn't be happy with someone else until I learned to be happy with myself. I didn't exactly swear off men, but I was happily single for several years and then met my husband by sheer chance. I balked for a while (I was happy, what'd I want to screw it up with a man for?) but he convinced me that he was worth keeping ;) I still don't think anyone NEEDS a man -- or that any man NEEDS a woman.
